Nestled in the serene countryside of Stanthorpe, Dillons Cottage, a charming 100-year-old holiday home, exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the country charm enveloped us, providing the perfect retreat after a long drive. the cozy interiors, boasting a king-sized room, a double room, and two single beds in the quaint third bedroom, felt like a true home away from home. Conveniently located just a few minutes from the town center, Dillons Cottage offered a tranquil oasis while being close to some of the best restaurants and wineries in the area. the thoughtful amenities, from the fabulously hot shower to the abundance of glassware and towels, ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the gas heater fireplace in the kitchen and wood fire in the lounge added a cozy touch, perfect for the chilly Stanthorpe evenings. Exploring the cottage, filled with intriguing trinkets and vintage decor, was a delight, discovering the rich history of a family home standing strong for over a century. the magical touch of fairy lights on the front veranda and back deck added a whimsical ambiance, creating unforgettable evenings under the country stars. the eco-friendly practices and serene surroundings perfectly aligned with my principles. Whether you seek a peaceful getaway, a historical retreat, or simply a cozy haven to relax, I highly recommend Dillons Cottage for a memorable stay in Stanthorpe.
